I was so naive. I thought it was really just all about getting your questions answered. So I asked a question one day that I really wanted an answer too. I got some kind of flip answer from a guy who obviously thought he was funny. But I wasn't amused, so I stayed away for months. Then when I came back and started looking around, I found out what the site was really all about ... having fun.
Wish we could get back to that. I miss it.

When I first started coming around, I noticed a lot of "Top Contributer" badges and other little things that people had attached to their avatars. I honestly wanted one. Well, quickly I got one and I was happy. When I started meeting newer people and making friends (you all know who you are and how awesome I feel each of you are) I started to not care about points. I know there are those who leave and breathe this site and are here to only earn more points. Then you have your trolls. Can we just back to the real meaning here and that is having fun?

I had no clue what Yahoo answers was for a LONG time. I somehow ripped into this site once and then it took me about 6 months to come back. I started making friends through my brother and his girlfriend who are also members of the site. It was all a real nice thing after that. i just wanna have fun and meet new and interesting people, STAR for you!

the comparable ingredient exceeded off to me. somebody hijacked my call and insulted yet another JW. the dissimilar apostates attempt to reason hassle returned. This in elementary terms proves what liars they are particularly. If I ever commence conversing extraordinary do now not have confidence it for a 2nd. What they're doing is fraudulent and that they're staring at effects in the event that they get caught. What Jeshurun stated is authentic. there have been people who infiltrated the enterprise to reason hassle, yet a number of them particularly began believing it turn into the certainty. I undergo in recommendations listening to of an journey like that. He got here sparkling approximately it and then grew to become a baptized brother. thank you, gray Tower. I undergo in recommendations that. i turn into staying up overdue that nighttime and that i spotted that too. Our buddy Zebra turn into without notice disowning her ideals and announcing "i desire to get out of this Jehovah Cult that i'm in." i've got observed different suspicious issues besides. A sixteen-12 months-previous female is without notice announcing how she desires to flow away the JWs. I went to her profile and it have been inactive for 3 or so years. Then abruptly it receives lively and she or he's announcing how she is so upset being a JW.

Actually it's more like how long was I here before I realized it WAS, for some people. Amazing.... It took me a loooong time to figure out some people take the points seriously, and even longer to figure out that some of us here have never really left High School.
Weird... }:>

Realization, in my case, is a very slow process. This is one of the world's safest and smartest (most brilliant) social networks. Hard-earned points and genuine popularity, also add to the fun and esteem. YAT and most YA participants, make full efforts, to keep Y!Answers forum "beautiful and dignified."

I knew that when I got here. You are my contact. You can check for yourself and see how I asked questions about giving points away and answered questions by saying they don't matter to me. The people I make friends with and the fun we share is what I feel it's all about.

Oh, about 2 days, I think. I am just here for the fun. It is my little escape from "reality." Funny how there are times where it puts you right back into it though.
