Well we have lunatics and wolves that are affected by the presence of a full moon.
There is of course,no direct contact,it is all in their head.
Of course if one was sleeping on the beach and the tide came in,he would have to swim like hell to get out of there.
This is one example of a direct link where the moon affects a person's behavior.

Yes - there always seems to be more vandals out around a full moon. Maybe they can see better with the light.
