Thanks, you always ask the questions which make people thinking about themselves. Very few persons in the world have this kind of capacity to listen what others want to say.
Well, your question is direct, so answering in descending order in simple language:)

I am impatient:

1. On seeing a crying child whatever may be the reason.
2. On seeing an old person who is hungry and helpless ignored by his/her own relatives.
3.When people are rude with each other and also with me, with or without reason. Also on harsh words and rough language.
4. On real injustice and violation of basic freedom of any living thing even of non living thing.
5. When somebody for whom I care does not reply immediately my mails.
6. When asker like you does not select my answer as Best answer.:) :)

Really enjoyed. Keep smiling.

Good luck.

If patience really was a virtue, you could wait until your dying breath for an answer, a result, an expectation to be filled. When time is short, when something needs a result as soon as possible, impatience is the virtue that may succeed in acquiring the result. Impatience gets you out of your chair, on your feet, and thinking. However, patience is necessary to a species (Man) that is not omnipotent and cannot have immediate results every time.

Hello there Anil:)
Your questions always make me smile hehe
SO yeah.. what makes me impatient. I guess I had a real " impatient " half an hour plus on Wednesday. Showed me how very little patience I have at times.
A friend of mine just had day surgery. I picked her up from the hospital. She was in some pain because of the nature of the surgery. We had to stop off at the drug store to acquire some of the newer medicine for the pain.
I thought maybe this would take only a few mins as I left her in the van. Got there and there was not many people there so I thought this will take me under five mins.
TOOK ME OVER HALF AN HOUR.
I got so tired of waiting there.. Told the lady that my friend was in pain from having surgery and that if it were at all possible to work on this prescription a little faster.
She said i had a wait. I walked around and purchased some other things I thought my friend would need as well as a couple things for myself. Went back.. seems like they forgot about me. The ineptitude was so obvious.. Considering that i explained the urgency of the situation. Anil I felt so badly. My poor sister in the Lord was there .. sick with pain. I really did not want to carry on in the drug store but i found their slow lack of care for another human being. Their attitude was " they are not paying me to speed here so you'd better wait and deal with it '" really irritated me and made me impatient.

I got the the van and poor Wilma was sweating and pale as sheets in pain. I wanted to cry so bad. We hustled her home and got some meds into her.

I truly get impatient at people who are capable of doing something yet they have a the worst attitude and have become so jaded at what they do that it makes others pay a high price. You are a trained professional I believe you should render service that matches your level of education.

Any ways brother... our sister Wilma is coming along well. May our Lord truly grant us much grace to deal with even our impatience. Keep our sister in your prayer as she heals and is restored back to her family. Its cancer....

Your sister

The truer assessments is "how do I make myself impatient".

Impatience comes from wanting X and wanting X now. Whatever the X may be. Patience is considered a virtue for this reason. Road rage is impatience. Everyone rushing to get where they want to be and now.

Desire or longing. Sometimes, one cannot come to one's desired item. The item has to come to the one waiting. When the expectation builds up and the time trickles slowly by, the desire increases sharply and impatience is created.

Right now, I am waiting for someone to arrive. He did not arrive at the expected time, and I want to talk to him so badly. Every moment passing by with no sign of him is torture, as all of the questions start coming to mind. "Is he avoiding me? What happened to him? Is he hurt? Why is he unable to arrive?" Therefore, I am now impatient. I can no longer wait in this agony.

People clinging to the supernatural beliefs of ignorant past societies - especially when they haven't really studied the history of what they believe, let alone other belief systems, or human psychology from which such beliefs spring. But I do try to be patient, and as gentle as possible, with those believers who seem to me to be too naturally stupid to be able to think beyond what they've been taught. One does not kick a dog for barking, though one may try to teach it not to do so. But so much human anguish is caused by stupidity clinging to outworn beliefs, and refusal to think, I am angry and therefor impatient on behalf of the species (in which, after all, I am embedded).

The only time I get impatient is if I know someone is waiting for me and I need to hurry so I won't keep them waiting. I don't mind waiting for other people though. Mmm

Usually if I have nicotine in my system (why I quit smoking).

I was never addicted to smoking, but I've made sure not to ever smoke right before work, because the customers can test you to the limit and I need all the patience I can muster.
