What are some signs that the world is going to end soon?

I'm just curious, but what are some cool things happening right now that prove the world is going to end soon?

First off the world as a planet is NOT going to end.

The world is a biblical term for a world of evil humans, and governments and false religions. Those will end. But faithful Humans will not end, neither will the Earth as a planet.

There are many different bodies of thought or conjecture (depending upon how you look at them) having to do with projections for the end of human life on this planet. Some are based on religious belief, some are based, more or less, on some degree of scientific theory. One of them, for instance, revolves around the ancient Mayan Long count calender. This calendar stops at December 21st, 2012 (the winter solstice) and, based upon past accuracies observed via this calendar, the theory projects that life will end on this date in 2012. The accuracy of this theory, or any other, has yet to be proven nor, to the best of my knowledge, are too many people really anxious to see it proven. Then again, I don't anybody who is enthusiastic about seeing a particular end-of-life theory being proven correct. Earth collisions with cosmic bodies, from long past, are evident and, given a large enough collision, such an event could result in the termination of most, if not all, life on earth. The astronomers cannot be precise on the timing; they only insist that such thing will happen at some time in the future.

global warming, nuclear war, Armageddon, giant meteor, other galaxy hitting ours, zombies, alien invasion, collapse of human civilization, natural disaster in general, unnatural disaster in general, science lab creating monsters and letting them get away and everything we know will end in not too long from now and you will all die a painful death because all you stupid humans deserve it.
