What are your thoughts (serious answers please)
FYI, we have been in and out of this type of relationship for quite a while now and it has really allowed the two of us to be so much closer, open & honest with each other. Many people (not knowing our personal life) ask all the time how we keep it so good for so many years. (Married for 19yrs now) It's not for all people but if you can allow yourself to be honest with yourself....the rest comes naturally. Not to metion the bex intimate life you could imagine!

19 yrs it has worked for you. Pretty hard to dispute hard facts. I think it takes a great deal of emotional maturity of all parties involved.

I don't think it is for everyone because to achieve that kind of maturity where intimacy and mutuality takes the place of competition and jealousy takes a lot of mature effort.

I think it's fine. Technically it would be better if you were in a committed polygamous relationship, but no harm, no foul. Many people don't realize how prevalent this sort of relationship is throughout various societies and in nature. By the way, most species are not monogamous only a few are, and it appears our natural state is not monogamy.
