Yes you do have to keep paying your property taxes every year. Usually they are due twice a year and you can call your local county assessor's offfice to find out when the taxes are due. Whe you receive your tax bill it should state right on there how much is owed and what month. Then there should be a second set that shows the same information excep that the month is changed.

Huh? Your property taxes will need to be paid each year. You will get a bill in the mail. Most of the time these are escrowed which means you pay a portion with your mortgage payment each month. Then, when the bill comes, it is paid out of escrow.

If you JUST bought a house, then you don't need to worry about what will happen when it is paid off. That is probably many years away.

Usually property taxes go into escrow and are automatically paid by the mortgage company while there is a mortgage on the house.

Once you pay off the mortgage, the town government will directly send you a bill for the taxes you owe. Some towns send 1 bill with 4 quarterly payment coupons, others send a quarterly bill.

Yep you can't get away from paying taxes. Your county will send you a bill in the mail once you have your home paid off if you are currently escrowing it. The only way to escape them is in many states they have a Homestead Exemption for senior citizens. Depending on what state you live in you may find freedom after age 65!

Yes you have to pay taxes. I know in Virginia we pay to the city treasurer office. If you can open a escrow account and put money in it periodically, so the money will grow a little bit. Then when it time to pay your taxes, you will have some money in an account away from your main account.

If you find out that you don't, let me know! lol

Yes you always pay property taxes.
How? You write a check to the county. You pop it in the mailbox.
You give the tax receipt to the accountant.

Pretty simple.
