How do you deal with them? I have this colleague who needs to be the center of attention so much, she'll do anything. Such as singing, laughing really loud, dropping her stuff on the floor and make a racket. She believes that everyone is interested in all her stories and that we should all stop doing what we do to listen to her when she talks... Know anyone like that?

Yes, I have met some people who believe they are the center of the universe and their doodoo don't stink. These are usually the same people who have nothing to say when they are really needed and come at the most inconvenient times for the purpose of drawing attention to themselves. When they are ignored you eventually get sight of them and treat them with the respect that their come uppance deserves.

Yup. I'm impressed that you haven't strangled her yet! Most people over the age of 10 stop behaving that way.. okay, teenagers in the company of other teenagers... but otherwise most people have figured out that their mom was prejudiced. }:>
