gowpet: actually not ashamed those parents shouldn't have kids, you see some couples can't have kids due mediacal reasons, so let them have kids. bottom line if parents don't teach those 14 years old girls, life gives them HARSH lesson

First of all no girl should not know who the father of her baby is regardless of age. That is not only dangerous for the woman or girl involved as far as STD's go but it is unfair to the child. Like I told you in a previous answer I was a teen mom and I grew up fast and raised my child. I went to college and now make a decent amount of money. And like I told you before I did know who the father was and ended up marrying him and having another child with him. But things between us didn't go well and my children and I ended taking off for our safety. So it can be done without the father around but 14 is very young. At least at 16 I was able to drive my child to daycare and myself to work and class. I think it is a tragedy for a child to not know their father and is an even bigger tragedy when it is their mothers carelessness that causes it.

I am sickend by the fact that it happens so often, and then they continue to have more and more babies.
I knew of this one girl who had 4 kids by the age of 18. She is now 30 with 12 kids and is about to be a grandmother!
So many girls have multiple partners and think it's a friggin game to see how many the can sleep with. Parents that don't talk to their children about sex and all the embarrassing stuff that goes along with it, should be ashamed!! I

Why have her parents allowed her to wander and be away from them in to wind up this way? Obviously, if she doesn't know who the father is, she isn't be watched to well. 14 should just be hanging onto the barbie dolls just emerging out of that stage, not even thinking about sex yet. Society is to blame as well, not just the parents. Society encourages sexual tendencies in todays youth.

I don't beleive in abortion, so my opinion would be that see now learn to be an adult and raise this child or find a family that will adopt.

My opinion is basically "Well, what's done is done, now the focus needs to be on what's best for the baby."

In this case, I'd bring up the options of adoption or abortion. Definitely not to keep the baby.

EDIT: Oh, and I'd be sure to get the girl's tubes tied or maybe an IUD or Norplant, some form of birth prevention that she doesn't have to take responsibility for remembering every day.

Young girls are not being properly taught important values, such as chastity anymore. I feel very badly for them. When I have daughters I hopefully will teach them to the best of my ability to have self respect above all else and to value their innocence.

Peace :)

Plus the Beacon highway ladies (from the books) respond to messages too. i like the MovieMaker and the kind layout video games too. Plus they are giving freely a family contributors holiday to Jamaica.

I think they need to grow up before having sex. Their parents need to be more involved. That is someone you should stay away from.

They need to be taught about protection at that age.
