We have a ferret (slinky) and a rabbit (corona) which we received from my older sister after she was kicked out of her apartment for having them. She was watching slinky for one of her friends whose mother didnt like having a ferret, and the bunny she bought and named after beer. We were dog people, but our dog had died and we ended up falling in love with these precious rodents......and now they are potty trained and roam freely around the house as members of the family lol. Oh and the ferrets owner tried to come back and get slinky after a year or more...lol..and we were like...umm... we'll fight you to the death if you try and take him because we cant imagine life without a funny little ferret running around and causing trouble now.

Well I also have a cat and a dog. I got the cat (raindrop) 3 years ago from the humane society. Someone had dropped him and his brother off in a huggies diaper box at the door of the humane society in the middle of the night. By the time they found them, they both had hyperthermia. Raindrop actually was classified as dead 2 times, but they managed to bring him back. He is now a very healthy cat. We named him Raindrop because he is pure white with a grey drop on his forehead.
Faith, my golden retriever puppy, I got a few months ago from a breeder. The breeder told me that she was 8 weeks old. When I got her, I couldn't believe how small she was. I live 4 hours away from the person I got her from. It wasn't untill I got home and looked at her AKC papers that I realized she was only 4 weeks old. That stupid old breeder already had her on hard food and everything. Anyways, she is now a very sweet, and energized 6 month old puppy.
I hope this answered your question!

I have three dogs. Roxy and Sadie- really no story there, just got them. And Lil' Bit is a 1 year and 3 month old pitbull/terrier mix who was hit by a car (under her previous owner's care) and then left outside of their house for 3 days until they decided she needed medical attention so they surrendered her to the humane society. She had to have her front left leg amputated and a part of her back right hip removed. I adopted her a few days ago and now she is spoiled beyond belief, like she should be.

I have a grey and white cat with no tail named Yager that I found on my doorstep as a starving kitten, a Chilean rose-hair tarantula that I have had for years named Arachne, and two leopard gheckos that my friend and I purchased on a whim a year ago. I ended up moving 900 miles away from the fellow owner, and ended up keeping the lizards. They are named Leonardo and Michaelangelo.

I have a red sable Pomeranian. She would steal things and hid them in her bed so I named her Belle Starr, after an outlaw. I have a teacup black Pomeranian named Eight Ball, who a man traded to me for a dozen roses on Valentine's Day when I owned a flower shop.
