thanksgiving because we ail go to my parents and hang out all day. that is the only time i get to see a lot of my cousins that live out of state. there is about 65 people thee. we have been doing it for out 15 years now. my parents rent a moon walk and horses for the kids. the older kids play football and basketball. most of us ladies sit on the back porch and watch all the little kids playing. i look forward to this day every year.

I know it's tacky; I know it's obvious, but while I love all my hugs on Hug a vegetarian day, and while I wish I could wear funky wigs all year round like I do on Halloween (and I love passing out the coolest candy on my side of town), I just love Christmas.

I love the lights, the colors, the songs, the snow. I live in Ohio and have a lot of snow, and the winter would be unbearable if the first month or so of snow didn't lead to Christmas. I just love the whole feel of it. When I was a kid, my family often took me and my siblings to Florida for Christmas. While Florida was nice, I somehow felt like I missed the whole holiday.

I also love buying presents for people. I love finding just the right gift that shows that I know some aspect of who they are and that I appreciate who they are and what they love.

I love giving gifts. I love playing games. I love taking pictures. I love decorating my tree. I love simply being there with those who love me.

And that is why Christmas is my most favoritest holiday of all.

Halloween, hands down.

No other holiday means you can dress up and pester other people for candy!

Now that I'm older, it just means dressing up and getting drunk with friends, but I still love it!

I also really like Thanksgiving! Mostly because I get to COOK, but it's a pretty laid back holiday. Eat some turkey, eat some pie, kick back and watch football.

Also... any day that means I get off from school/work is a good enough holiday for me!

Christmas for two reasons.

1. We celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

2. It's my birthday.

PS. It's like two holidays in one.

Thanksgiving, its a peaceful time, just after all the fun and excitement of October (Halloween is like a month long thing for us) and before all the Christmas chaos begins. I love that people are so nice around the holidays. Oh and I totally love turkey and really, really like all those leftover turkey sandwiches for like a week after.

Chanukah, because the kids love lighting the candles every night and I love watching them have a great time- and Simchat Torah because it's such a joyous holiday
