Where are the blacks in france mostly from?

Hello, I was wondering where are the blacks in france mostly from. what part of africa? I know african americans are west africans from Gambian and some other west africa country ,so they were the purest africans I believe. That's what a man from africa told me. East africans are lighter africans in africa , west africans are the darker ones, mostly pure, I believe. Most people thank all africans are all pure,, but I have meet many that came to the US, and i though they were just regulary light skin blacks. I was surprise. Very beautiful people. It's not want you think how it is on the media.

Most of them come from places in the Caribbean, like Haiti, Martinique, Guadaloupe, etc. The ones from Africa are probably from French-speaking countries, like Senegal, or something.

Germany have no black people as their immigrants, most are Turks. France have a lot of black people as their immigrants because they colonized half of Africa, most come from the Caribbean, North Africa and West Africa. As to why there are a lot of black players on the France team, it's because the manager believed they are some of the best players with French citizenship. Same reason why every player on the US basketball team is black. These countries don't select players based on their skin color.

I have no idea, but in response to Intel...yes! There are different kinds of 'white' people too. A lot of Russians are considered white, but they have a more olive complexion, as do a lot of Italians. But the Irish are generally very pale with a rosy complexion. Different shades for different areas of the country! It's not racist to ask a question about origins. I think it's a compliment that, if the questioner is white, he wants to know more about Black history!

And yes, I saw the movie with Queen Latifah and that French black guy made me melt!

Algeria which used to be a French colony until around 1966. Others may come from close neighbours to Algiers, or the French Ivory Coast.

To the first poster I'm not sure why this is a racist question - I think he is asking a relevant question. Everyone originates from somewhere and sometimes large groups of that population are found in certain countries. It is interesting to find these things out.

If you look at the posters previous questions he isn't likely to be being intentionally racist.

Surprised how much you are concerned.Anyway skin color depends on where you live,for example some people in E Africa e.g Ethiopia they look black or lighter on face and hands but when they put off their shirt, their body is very light,you don't believe.so effect of sun.

I don't know but that black guy on the movie "Beauty Shop" with Queen Latifah in it - he has the most beautiful french accent i've ever heard!
