Hi sweetie,
If you are drifting between sleep and wakefulness, this is state is called "hynogogia". It is the state in which both your concious mind and your subconcious are active at the same time. You can dream but still have your concious mind influence you. Dreaming occurs when we are close to being awake, not during deep sleep. This is why we often wake up right after a dream. As you emerge from the R.E.M sleep (dream sleep) you move through the hypnogogia state when your concious mind may be starting to take over. Your dreams may be more vivid at this time or seem more "real". Sometimes you can even hear things going on around you (a radio, people talking etc. ) and think you are awake, even though you are dreaming. This is when you may be able to try "lucid" or "directed"dreaming where you can change your dream at will. I hope this helped.Love and luck--MissDelanne

You are describing astral travel or an out of body experience. It's very real, we all do it every night, we are just not aware of it most of the time.

Looking at some of the other answers...people need to educate themselves, stop being so closed minded....

its a vision unless you dont believe in those things. EIther you believe something of that sort or "professionals" are going to start analyzing you and creating a dosage for you. Be careful who you tell your "visions" too. Some people have a gift to see things in the spiritual realm. Ive only had about 2 visions in my life.
