Yes my daughter and I share a birthday, on her 9th birthday she fell down and had a concussion and had to be hospitalized! We spent our birthday in the hospital! The nurses bought us a cake, of course since she was born on my birthday that was the best one!

Well I guess it started on my third birthday, when my mother passed away. So out of respect to my mother I never celebrated it, until this year. I hope no one has an unhappy birthday, but it does happen. Look only on the good ones.

well my whole town got flooded and i got evacuated the day before my birthday and i ended up staying with my friend in a smelly weird cabin-thing overnight.

so maybe that's sort of unhappy.

plus the fact that i had to sleep in a tent that night.

and i couldn't go on the computer because the gas tank in our basement exploded and the house was full of fumes.

so, yeah, that was an unhappy birthday.

yes, I used to work at a place that celebrated everyone's birthday with a cake and a card- but they never, ever remembered mine. Did that for 4 1/2 years!

i don't know if i ever had an unhappy one . but this year it will be my mom won't be there. I never wanted anything for my birthday accept to help others on my birthday that made me happy..so i usually cooked my mom's favorite food for her on my birthday just to see a smile on her face made me smile that all i needed. she has passed away so this year will be unhappy, but i will try to make it a happy one.

Three years ago, I planned a nice dinner for my friends to celebrate my birthday. I invited six but only one came. Too busy with work, tired, appointments, etc....

Yes. My dad was out of town and nobody celebrated or anything...that's not how it usually is for our family, so that' why it was unhappy.

Not really, though not all of them have been the "happy go lucky" birthdays you think of, but they weren't bad.
