Feminism is totally sabotaging young men today.
First males are demonized, especially in history. Meanwhile females are seen as benevolent freedom fighters who conquered oppression by males.
Male traits are also being squelched. Boys are more active than girls but this is seen as a problem and they are stuck with the label ADHD. The competitive and aggressive nature of males is also discouraged as wrong and primitive compared qualities that are seen as feminine. These are things such as sharing and cooperating.
This is the tip of the iceberg. Read "The War on Boys" if you want to know more.

I think most guys are convinced they have smaller than necessary "equipment". Funny thing is that most guys represent the norm, so, by default, they actually are fine. This and actual performance in bed. I think if I a guy feels pressure to perform and he's too stressed out or whatever, that can screw up his self esteem. Other self esteem factors include being able to provide for their families. If they can't then I'm sure that will ding their egoes.

I wouldn't say ruining the self esteem, but the fact that they are attack males for things they haven't done is horrible. They should be attacking the older guys (70+) as they are the real men that lived in the era where girls weren't seen as equal. I don't know anyone that believes that woman are inferior anymore. They need to grow up.
I hate feminist that use infer that we (males) think are better. They have to go up to you and say in your face, ohhh you got beaten by a GIRL! By saying that, they are implying that girls are naturally inferior, and that they had to go through all the handicaps. In reality, there is no handicaps. Well that was my little rant.

True feminism sets both sexes free. Anything less just calls itself feminism. Neither sex should be treated like an object for ogling, but it'll never happen. Men have to be pallbearers, for instance. There's no way out of it. If our young men understand that a woman needs to know how to change a tire, and he needs to know how to do laundry, we'll stop gender assignment for life skills. When a young woman tells a young man he's too male, she is underinformed. When a man is told he is a potential wife-beater, he has to understand there are husband-beaters, just not enough complaints about it. So much has to happen to make us all understand our equality. We need each other. So many stereotypes have to go the way of the wind.

Hi JD! Yes, I think there are some damaging things that could result because of some feminists and what they say about men. I believe women should have equal rights, but not "special" rights. I also think that some women trample men (verbally) which makes them look too harsh and insecure. I think men should be respected for their genetic differences, and women should also be held in high esteem because of who they are by nature. What some people may not realize is that feminists can even hurt women! Feminists may say women "can do it all," meaning, have children, be single parents (because who needs men?) and have a successful career. All of this thrown upon women is an awful lot to expect! Again, yes. The young "male" could be suffering because of derogatory comments made by feminists. Hope my opinion helps!

yes they are we are raised to think it is acceptable to be abused, whether it's mentally physically emotionally. And girls are raised to think they are superior and stamp on any boy that looks at you the wrong way. Feminists have ruined this generation of boys, just take a look around you.. the media, schools, in general, history (where it's now looked as we were violent and women conqueres us...)

All the trolls are reading from the same hymn sheet today. In fact I would guess this is a concerted whinge aimed solely at GWS feminists and is a local affair.
If there is a RELIABLE source raising the subject of:
1. feminist mothers accusing sons of being 'too male";
2. feminist mothers accusing sons of being potentioal wife beaters;
3. feminist mothers deliberately damaging boys' self-esteem;
I would like to see it.

I saw a talk show where the man was always telling his sons, "if a girl can learn to do it you can". He was teaching his sons to feel Superior because they were male. I imagine you think that's just fine. But I think they will grow up needing for women to be weak and stupid in order to feel good about themselves. When they do meet women who are able to do things they themselves have no talent for, and are not willing to pander to their ego, as they inevitably will, they will probably feel hostile and say they aren't "feminine". So people, both boys and girls, should be able to grow up without being told that they are inferior or superior because of their gender.

I don't think feminists are sending that message. I think feminists *are* sending a message to young boys/men that it's ok to express your gender in whatever way you want. They shouldn't have to feel like they need to be "macho" or "always assertive" much like women shouldn't be made to feel that they must be "desirable" or "submissive." If anything, I think feminism has the potential to positively impact young men's self esteem by showing them that it's ok to be yourself, whatever that means to you...

Only those who cannot feel good about themselves are likely to lack self-esteem. I feel fine about My persona because I have been true to My philosophy of life.
