Well...I'm 14 and I've driven to South Dakota, Florida, Alaska, and Maine and I live in California. We always take a small bag of carrots, cheez-its/saltines/some kind of cracker, apples, peanut butter, and some sugar free Minute Maid lemonade. And a loaf of bread for the peanut butter sandwiches.

Always, Always have Cheezits in the car.
Plenty of coffee.
Stop a lot to pee out the coffee and eat something to keep you from getting tired.
Have a super trip!! If UR traveling on the interstate there are exits every few miles so plenty of restaurants.

Those gogurt things that squeeze out of a tube.
Anything munchable.
We like to eat Pringles chips as the "salt " content helps in settling stomachs of those that get motion sickness.

Buy some Rhodes Texas Rolls, and bake them. Get different lunchmeats, that you like, and make mini roll sandwiches. They are so good and easy....and handy to pack (Very satisfying!)*
