It never was about getting us out of Iraq - this was just the accompanying theme to the "Hate Bush" campaign for the democrats last November.
Despite the poles and far left rhetoric - Americans prefer victory over defeat every time and they realize that a troop withdrawal at this time is a very bad idea.
I don't really know what issues are going to divide the candidates - I would guess perhaps health care is a good guess, or illegal immigration and the borders (although neither party seems to want to effectively address that issue),
maybe the whole election will boil down to simple ideology - big government vs. small government, entitlements vs. self sufficiency, etc.
What ever issues are paramount - you can be sure both parties will promise us to death with solutions.

I think they are scared to answer any question on Iraq because they know Mr. Bush has much too hide about what is really going on and what type of deals he has really made. Shoot, the man is trying to make people re-write history books now if that is not big balls I don't know what is? Working in the health care field i see the problems first hand of good people not being able to afford their medication, putting up their homes to finish financing a NEEDED surgery that their insurance will not cover completely and to be honest with you everyone should have an answer for this question. I do think that health care is going to be nationwide it's just of matter of whose plan is going to work. I think that is why medication just made an increase again because just like the Mortgage companies and the dot.com companies all greediness must come to an end.

In Australia we will hold our Federal Election in November. Iraq is one issue, most would like to see an end to it, but bolster troop numbers in Afghanistan-the "real" war on terrorism ! Just dont start anything in Iran, we all know you want to but your motives are BS. Here work place reform is the biggest issue countering our Governments strong economic growth.

It's about whatever the liberals think that you want to hear so that they can buy your vote.
Healthcare and legalizing ILLEGALS will probably be their big topics since those two topics can buy them MILLIONS of votes from the people who don't believe in EARNING entitlements.
Most of the liberals voted to go into Iraq before they voted against it when it became unpopular.

Hillary is very creative when it comes to making promises. I'm sure she will come up with more.
One promise all Americans will surely get to see is their tax dollars going to pay for the more promises.
