He's bored. Make sure he gets plenty of time out of his cage to play and run around. Also, try to give him new more interesting toys that will hold his attention.
Something that works for my rabbit is taking old cardboard paper towel rolls, putting a treat, hay, or a veggie inside, and rolling the ends up. He'll spend the majority of a day throughing it around chewing, and playing with it. And he's happy as can be because he gets a treat at the end. (Plus it's cheap for me. :D )
Just be creative and think of ways to keep him entertained while you're away.

It could be bored. Get some bunny toys and see if that helps. Some bunnies are just notorious for tossing their dishes. I have a couple that do this and it is SO annoying! I recommend a heavy crock that they can't turn over, or the type of dish that locks to the side of the cage. Hang your water bottle on the outside of the cage with the spout sticking into the cage and that should stop bunny from knocking it out of the hanger.

For puppies I always use the clip on holders complete with bowl which you can clip over the side of their pen. This way they are off the ground so the pups don't keep colliding into them when they play. They are like the ones people buy for the inside of aviaries for birds, only larger. Most Pet Stores sell them. The shredded newspaper is something you have to live with when they are this age. It's a continuous battle to keep the pen tidy. As fast as I put clean stuff down they were straight on it and shredding it to bits. It sounds as if they are at the stage where they need to be in an outside shed or kennel with a puppy pen so they can now start to go potty outside. If you can incorporate a patch of grass within the pen so much the better. They should start to eliminate on the grass and this will save you a lot of hard work and also it's the beginning of housetraining. Ten puppies are a lot of hard work. If they are big puppies they could go to their new owners at 8 weeks. It sounds as if they would probably benefit from being with their new families now for one to one relationships. All the best.

Both rabbits i had did the same thing! I think its just something they do out of boredom? But i bought a better metal wire attachment (for the side of the cage) for the water bottle and a heavy ceramic bowl so they couldnt do it. They also make bowls with suction cups on the bottom, that might work!

my bunnies do it too. they like to re arange things.. you should get a bowl that you can attach to the cage so that the rabbit cant move it. Or if they dont live in a cage, than just get a heavy bowl, that they cant move. for the water, i would just suggest getting a water bottle from the petstore. good luck

i have no idea, but my bunny does the same thing with her bowl, so i bought a metal bowl that can attach to the cage, and it's harder for her to knock it down.:) good luck:)

They like to play. I have an enamal tin plate that my rabbit's treats go into which he can flip and make noise with, but his water and pellets go into a double sided dog dish which slopes out on the outside so he can't flip it.
