Princeton Review's web site has a tool where you enter information about your background and interests & it tells you what colleges are a good match.

The link is below.

this list that I'm about to give you is the only relevant ranking list for US colleges. It is the premier list hands down. I'll give you some background on it. Colleges are broken up into a few categories: National Universities, Liberal Arts colleges, Masters Colleges (not like graduate or masters degree---it is just a label), and Comprehensive Colleges. In the national universities once you get past around 55 0r 60 on the list schools basically suck (after Boston University). There are a few exceptions such as Marquette, Clemson, fordham, and Northeastern but seriously that is it. Schools like University of Missouri suck, and schools like stevens institute of technology suck terribly. So basically once your in the 60's, 70's and beyond besides those few exceptions the schools are bad or barely average. Liberal arts rankings are good up until around number 35 maybe 40. all comprehensive schools suck balls----all of them---that's why they are on the comprehensive list. masters colleges all basically suck too besides loyola marymount, villanova, providence, santa clara, and trinity.

go to google and type in us news and world report best colleges.

good luck the categories are labeled.
