Maybe they are too young to know better, or they do not take time to get to know who people are, and, that is a shame, because, "they"...miss out on possibly getting to know someone they could get to know, and possibly... make a new friend.

were all human. appearance is the first thing we see and most times thats all we have to go by.
im not saying that its right. its really horribe. VERY horrible.
i think its a shallow way of seeing people, and an easy way to misunderstand and often times cause people to become miserable, but its what we do.
i know that i do it. its something that i wish i didnt... but thats the way i was raised here and old habits die hard. i really try to get to know a person better before judging them... but sometimes theres no opportunity, i guess.
still... in those cases you should just really quit it and butt out...

Because how you put yourself together on the outside is a reflection of who you are on the inside. If you are self-centered you usually wear too much hair spray, fake nails, shorts so high your *ss hangs out, transparent shirts with no bra, and too much gold. If you are quiet you usually wear things that don't scream for attention like the person described prior. If you are classy you usually wear dressy shirts, pretty skirts that aren't too short, pants that compliment your shirts (or vica versa), don't over accessorize, tone down on the makeup.
I could go on and on.
