Those people want Democracy and deserve Democracy. The American People must find a way to help make sure those people can share the same life of Freedom, Peace, and Tranquility that we take for granted and that the Burmese people deserve. What can we do as people to make this happen?

If you notice you may see question marks on the blog. That's the junta trying to censor it.

So save the HTML on that blog onto a disk before the junta gets rid of it.

I have not heard much about the composition and the effectiveness of Burma's Freedom Fighters however, the monk population is very well organized. They are well known for self-emulation to prove their point. If the Burmese government continues along the path of brutal suppression, I foresee monks setting themselves on fire as sacrifice. This will clearly catch the world's attention much like Vietnam.

Please pray for all these people. Also write your federal politicians telling them to put pressure on The Junta of so called "Myanmar" along with China to resolve this crisis peacefully and in a way that will ultimately culminate in the people of Burma gaining back their freedom.

Encourage our government only recognize other legitimate governments. If the country is not represented of, for, & by its people via democracy, including having the right to free speech and assembly, then it is not a legitimate government but a place in which its people have been taken hostage.

Instead we should recognize as well as monetarily support alternate governments that are democratically elected even if they are operating from aboard. This de-legitimizes those ruling with an iron fist at home and strengthens what is their rightful government speeding the transition for when such dictatorships inevitably fall. Call for the freezing of the assets of the so called "government" of "Myanmar" and give it instead to a democratically elected government of Burma (even if have to reside abroad for now).

What else can be done. Start by calling "Myanmar" (renamed by the thugs who hijacked the country) Burma. Keep spreading the news by letting people know what is going on. Give you moral support to those in the movement who are trying their hardest to get rid of this evil blithe. Offer your best suggestions and internet savvy. And never give up hope. With enough effort and persistence we can help Burma gain back its dignity.

The pics work and those are worth a thousand words each.
The U.S can't help....as it stands any interference would be scrutinized as trying to take over a soveriegn nation....sad too is the slaughter happening in Darfur.
