If this is the stepson you've asked questions about before, I would not feel sorry for him. It's time for a little tough love.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! You have done everything possible to help that kid stay out of trouble. Don't feel bad about the situation your stepson puts himself into. He needs to be held responsible for the actions He seems to continue to commit and expects you to always come to his rescue. Let him help himself this time. I know this must hurt you to hear this but you have to be strong and not enable your stepson any longer.This lesson will not only help him, it will take away the ball and chain that's been wrapped around your neck for no reason.The buck stops here! It's not your fault. You need to let your stepson find his own path in life.
