It's better your Mum hears it from you rather then from some other source.I am sure your Mum will understand, even if she may be upset at 1st.Give her the chance to support you through what ever is wrong.

I guess it depends what you want to tell her, which way you need encouragement.

If you are pregant, than she will find out eventually, and for the baby's sake you need to will need to get medical attention.
Its not about you, its about the baby.. (if this is the case)

If you have a medical issue that you don't want to tell her, you need to also, you will need proper medical attention, and if anyone will love you through a medical problem, its the woman who birthed you.

If its a sexual thing, honesty is the best policy. You may suffer from some anger etc in the moment, but if she is a true mother, nothing will get in the way of the love for her baby.

If its about something bad that happend to you or someone else, this is tough, and she may be in denial,... she may even know deep down but not facing up to it. She cannot properly care for you, or properly care for another person, without knowing what needs attention.

I want you to close your eyes, and imagine that you are telling her, anticipate and imagine her reaction. Think through what you will say in response to each scenario. Honestly, what is the worst thing that can happen?

This will moment will define yoiu....

Ask her something about her past and get her thinking "young" then ask the question third person. Example.. Mom when you were my age did you ride a bike or roller skate? (get the conversation going and ask questions about her answers) Then ask her "mom if I had a friend that stole a candy bar and she feels real bad should she tell her mom?" you fill in the blanks! Good luck and stay young!! Of course if it was very serious you will have to give us some more information.

Your Mom loves you very much and would want you to talk with her. No matter what you have to say, she will still love you. Sometimes we have to tell our parents things that will disappoint or surprise them but, have the courage and do what is difficult. Mom's can get over surprises, shocks, disappointments, etc. but, they would be sad to know that their child would be afraid to talk to them. Try your best to be brave and talk with her. Good luck.

That's your mom she loves you and will not judge you. Shes always going to be in your corner no matter what. So you go on and tell her anything without the need for concern.

your mom's a mother, and what happens happens- there will always be another route to escape to if something falls flat of what you hope her reaction is. Anyways, this is life, live it up and remember your you and you do things that will have upsides and downsides too. expect the worst, hope for the best
Good Luck :)

She will love you regardless.

Strike up the conversation by starting with a question. If it's something you're feeling ask her if she ever felt that way. If it's something you did, ask her if she ever did something like it. If it's something you think she'll be ashamed of, ask her if she would be ashamed of a child that did whatever...
Sometimes its a little easier to get things started when they start by asking her if she ever experienced something like it.
She will love you anyway.

just do it ! The burden will be lifted off your shoulders. You may be surprised. You may end up wishing you had told her sooner ! Most moms have a way of making it all better !
