It kills me to hear people dog Sharon, but no one else on the show. Yea, sometimes she plays the victim role but she hasn't committed any crimes. Phyllis has done MUCH worse but people love the scandolous woman. I just don't understand. I think all of YnR characters are liars and cheaters, not just Sharon. So why do people only single just her out?? Um

I know what you are saying! Pretty much all the characters on YnR have done wrong in their past, but Sharon is the only one people just hate. I feel like if you need to hate one, hate the other too. Victor has cheated on most of his wives, I believe.Nikki just slept with David, Vikki been sleeping with J.T (now don't know who the dad is) - But Sharon is the only hoe on the show? I don't know about that! I think if the writer's gave her character backbone and turned her into a bit*h like Phyllis people will like her. Its all the way you play your cards.

Nick cheated first with grace and sent sharon through a nightmare, then she was bumped to recurring status, at that time with the she is missing storyline and her killing cameron, and nick cheated again, so sharon has really gotten the worse of the deal, and phyllis has done some of every thing and she knew nick was married, and continued to go after him, while working in the same office as his wife, she broke christine and danny up with the fact that daniel was his son and he is not, she has killed, placed horse heads in beds and has been quite the *****, since she came to the show, I have issues with phyllis and nothing can change who she was before nick, and summer is not nicks so she is the same old tramp.

People don't like Sharon because she acts as though she has never committed a wrong-doing of her own. They may not like Phyllis either, but she is above board when it comes to being out front with what she does, unlike Sharon who does things and hopes that no one discovers what she has done.

It's just they way "real life". is. She is a "good person" so she is supposed to do no "wrong". She is supposed to "know better". Phyllis, on the other hand is a scheming, lying, cruel, evil person, so she is expected to be evil. They just don't give you a break if your're good. It's basically because they're are jealous and can't understand how a person can be "good" all the time, so they get revenge by looking for any little tiny "error" you make, so they can pick, pick, pick pick. When people pick, they are really jealous, but they will never admit it.

I think it's because she is so stupid...look how she is handling the situation with Brad. Her dumba** can't see that Brad turned on the intercom? I mean, damn Sharon who else was in the room to turn on the intercom? Why is she so trusting in Brad. Brad is a snake. He is always up in her face trying to get with her. And Phyllis, I have been pulling for her to get her just desserts a long time ago.

I find it humorous that so many people get so uptight about a TV character! She's made mistakes just like the rest of us. How many teenage pregnancies are out there? Come on people.. ease up a bit! You act like Sharon is a real person and she's just totally awful. I guarantee she's a lot more real than you'd expect. Shame on those especially who forget that Sharon was raped. Until you've lived in those shoes, how can you judge how someone will be after living through that?

I personally like Sharon. Phyllis is getting what she deserved. I don't know why everyone seems to dislike Sharon more than Phyllis.

Phyllis will admit that shes not perfect,,, she doesn't say that she is as perfect as Sharon says she is and BIG WOW!!! I don't think that Phyllis' crime is a big deal,,, come on how many of us has ever threatened to say something to someone else that wasn't wanted to be said??? And its not just Sharon that people are picking on we also had a few choice words on Dru!!! Thank God shes gone ,,, so don't hate us because we hate Sharon, we are all Y&R fans...

Because Sharon's easy prey..I don't find her character likable at all personally..ppl don't like her because she's a hypocrite and she thinks too highly of herself like she can do no wrong..Phyllis is who she is and yeah she's done her share of sh*t but she doesnt try to pretend like she's so much better than everyone else
