when people don't thank me
when people spill drinks

messy tablecloths
when people change their order 10,000 times

Pople at other tables who act as if they're the only family in the place. They are loud and obnoxious. Tonight I saw a woman blowing on her babies belly at the restaurant. This type of behavior is cute at home, but obnoxious in public. People are trying to eat and carry on civil conversations.

"1/ Have you ever been handed the wrong plate of food that belonged to someone else at the table?" Yes, and wrong food that didn't even belong to our table from our server or another server/food runner. "2/ Have you ever been auctioned off food before? (i.e.-where the server states the name of the dish and waits for you to say something or raise your hand to indicate it's your food)" Yes, it's LAZY! Now if the server didn't take our order that is bringing it out, then I cut some slack ONLY if it's at least our food, but if it's another table's food, that's ridiculous they don't even know what table they are going to. "3/ Do you think its unprofessional to auction off food to a table? Have you ever been cut off mid-convo because a server was auctioning off food to your table?" It is unprofessional, because it's lazy. They are supposed to go back to their written order and compare it to the the seating chart. An example: xx xx Seat one left top has a coke Seat two to the right of seat one has a sprite Seat 3 from left to right on the bottom has dr. pepper Seat 4 has water with lemon. Servers should be doing that when they take your order. I have had a lazy waitress auction off 4 soft drinks/teas. It's ridiculous. I mean they took the order, wrote it down and then making US do that WORK that's ridiculously lazy. Whatever happened to working for a tip? Mid conversation- Not really that I can recall, but have been interrupted from another server running food to us that wasn't even anywhere near the table they were supposed to bring it to. They should be knowing the seating chart by comparing the table # to the seating chart and then bring it. So many lazy servers out there. I am most pissed off about getting food errors that are obvious like missing condiments the VERY MOST thing that happens SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OFTEN it's RIDICULOUS and it's the most PREVENTABLE mistake, because you can bring it out ahead of time. I also am tired of servers bringing you wrong side dishes or forgetting side dishes or forgetting side salads or soups, because most of the times, it's servers that aren't comparing that written order to the food and some even don't write your order down even. I am also very tired of servers forgetting the smaller issues like I ask for a bag, a box, and the check, they forget the bag. I mean if you can't remember, WRITE IT DOWN! Quit being so lazy on the job. It's AGGRAVATING!

There are lots. But one thing I really don't like that a lot of restaurants do is not take reservations, so on a busy night you have to sit around forever before being seated.

As a customer, when my coffee cup is empty. A waitress that keeps my coffee cup topped off gets a generous tip.

when the wait person makes you wait a long time for refills or for some other request, when other customers are loud & when the a/c is so high my food gets cold fast

The waitress does not refill my tea. I have to motion the waitress to get her attention sometimes. It makes me feel awkward. And I always tip 20%.

Also, somebody picking in my plate. I hate that.

When people talk so loud, you hear like this nonstop rumble and have to talkreally loud just to be heard. When people give you weird looks. hah all i can think of now.
