They are real life. I assure you that I exist and that I am real. Using the internet as a substitute for relationships is possibly another matter.
People who fear being alone are likely to give you a difficult time about any comfortability with using the net. Some people who fear being alone must have you directly in front of them to allay their fears. An email or telephone call just won't do for them.
If possible, limit the number of people like that who are in your life.

This is real life. You are entitled to speak out without having to worry about your reputation being tarnished. Tell the truth and open up their World into yours. These people are blinded by arrogance and chasity. I am always getting knocked down for telling the truth. They cannot grasp that this is the real World today and not down the road. I tell it like it is. I care less about ther shallow opinions or what they stand for. I stand alone in the dark and enjoy my own private World. Screw them if they cannot accept the truth.

I don't think so. All the 'net is is an improved form of communications. I talk on the telephone all the time to people I'll probably never meet. Why should the 'net be any different?

I totally disagree with the user, "Hamlet," who told you that people who are "real," are better then those on the 'net.
NO ONE is better then anyone else, all are equal.
No, you are NOT a fool, by any means, because you happen to care about people you meet online verses people you meet in real time. Those in cyberspace are, afterall, friends without faces.

People on the Internet are people too... with feelings, and points of views.
In this sense, you can learn a whole lot from them.
But in the sense of having them replace your face-to-face friendships, I think there may be a problem because you can never know who you are dealing with and if they are reveling their true identity or not...

am i fool for treating flowers like humans, treating my fantasy in front of the mirror as an epic real adventure, for treating my dreams as reality?
You tell me.

You aren't a fool, you are just lacking something in your real life. Get up and go get it.
