YES!!! This girl my sister used to babysit (about 3 years old now) comes from a really broken family. She's half-black on her father's side, who got arrested for drugs. She has two older siblings from a different father (white) and her grandparents (on the other 2 kids' father's side) are completely racist and refuse to have anything to do with her. So the other kids always get tons of presents (the grandparents are fairly rich, the mother's poor because she can't be bothered to keep a job) and this poor little girl gets barely anything. It's horrible. My family had to buy her a winter coat last year because all she had was a flimsy jacket that could barely keep her warm on a spring's day. I just hate people sometimes.

Yes, my son
It's too late now and he is in jail
but for the first few months of this year, all I wanted to do
was take him away and hide him out, so he would not have to face whatever was making him hate himself so much, that he had to try and destroy himself.
I guess now he is hidden away from the world and learning how to cope with life in a way better then I could.

Not really. That wouldn't be very beneficial to a person in the long run. It's better to let them work out their conflicts and struggle through the cruelty. That's how Yin and Yang work. It's the idea behind the cliche saying of "what doesn't kill me makes me stronger".

Yes. same girl I always talk about. I hate it when she gets hurt. I get hurt too. The pain is multiplied tenfold when I see her so low and so unhappy. I just want her to be happy.
