they never see because you refuse to cry in front of them, usually out of pride or embarrassment
depending on if the person is very caring or not, they may feel guilty, or they may just ignore it

Oh, but they do see the tears - I make sure of it. They then decide I'm too big a chicken to worry about and let their guard down. Then I lambaste their miserable a55es! Revenge! How sweet it is...

I won't let them see! If they are cruel enough to make me cry in the first place...then I don't let them have the satisfaction of knowing that they got the reaction that they were after! They are not worth it...in my book! Chin up my friend! *hugs Joey*
