If you have some acting experience, there are graduate acting programs that provide both a full scholarship and a living stipend. Check out the National Theatre Conservatory in Denver, CO. It's not on a coast, but it's one of the best actor training programs in the country. It's a 3-year MFA program that doesn't even require a Bachelor's degree - it's either a Bachelor's of sufficient experience. You leave with your Equity card and no debt. There may be other similar programs around the country. Good luck.

You can be in amateur theatre in your community, but if you want a job, someday you will have to take a professional class, it is what pros do. But, I can see by your question that you have no idea of what to do to be and actor. Agents do not cost money, you see. So, if you love to act, actl Get in the school plays. Then you gotta get your folks on your side, cause they have to take care of all the legal stuff should you amount to anything before you are 18, not much hope though. It takes years of study and preparation and experience to be and actor. It's hard work, and after you graduate and are trying to be an actor, you have to have a day job so you can afford classes and printing and photography and stamps and food, and lodging. You know, you gotta support yourself.

Do you live near a community college. Almost every school offers dramatic classes. Also, look into your community itself and see if they have community theatre. That is the best place to start. and Study Study Study. That is the only path to success in the industry.
