i would say she meant that friday will be testing day to determine if her kidney needs to be removed some time in the future.
Just ask her, so you can clarify it.
No one would be back at work in 3 days.

No way is she going to be able to get her kidney out on Friday and be back to work on monday. It is a major operation and she will probably be in the hospital for a few days after. If she does somehow pull this off, let me know!!!

I looked this up, and there are new ways of performing surgery these days. Surgeons make several tiny incisions to remove the kidney and the hospital stay can be as short as overnight.
Here is a website detailing this type of surgery:

It ain't gonna happen. even if they simple removed it , she would be in the hostital for a few days . It is major surgery, I have one kidney , it was taken out , operated on and put back in . surgery was about 8 hours. The girl hasn't a clue as to what she's talking about.

If she is having her kidney removed, then I would seriously doubt that she will be back at work on Monday... that is a major surgery and she will need a while to recuperate!

Doubt it, they recomend atleast 3 days rest to have your wisdom teeth pulled.... kidney surgery is a much more complicated process, she will have to be monitored for at least 3-4 days after surgery just to make sure that there is no internal bleeding

yes, assuming the surgery went well three days is enough time to get back to daily life as long as it is not to intense. What was the reason for surgery? If it was for a serious matter she may need extra time. Are you her boss? If so give her extra time off to be sure she gets adequate rest.
