avavtar: it wasn't a "minor incident" to you or when it happened. It was still traumatic.

Thank you for your openness and honesty! I feel like I should be open, too, in light of all your answers. I've been called (by my counselor) "a walking dissaster zone".

When I was about nine, (for one thing) I was gang raped by a group older boys on the school play ground. They tore my clothes off, causing me to have to go home wrapped in a blanket. My mind has blocked most of the incident, but I can remember prats of it.

survived 4 years of war.
saw a few very dear people blown up by grenades, even more shot down by snipers, taken to concentration camps, etc.
i'd say that was the negative highlight.

My sister died. That is most definitely the worst thing thats ever happened to me.
But because of that, I lived in foster homes and children shelters for 3 years. But that is almost a good thing, my parents were neglectful. Their medical neglect is what caused my sisters death. I'm now living with my dad (my parents divorced while my & my siblings were in the system), which beats the hell out of shelters and strangers homes, believe me! But he is still somewhat neglectful, not to mention an alcoholic, and recovering druggy.
I was also molested when I was very young (3-5)
Those are just the highlights (erm, most negative?)...I wont go in to detail.
...I hope I dont sound like I'm complaining, but you did ask.
What about you?
Ohh! Hun, I'm so sorry you had to go through all that *giant hugsies*
Oh, wow, great answers! Glad to see I'm not the only freak.

Reading everyone else's has really helped me to actually get the courage up to tell you because I came to this question thinking no way in heck would I do it but now I will. I guess it could help some.
At five I was sexually violated and I'm pretty sure something else happened but I've blocked it out.

Reading everyone's answers has made me appreciate how fortunate I was when I grew up...not everything was perfect and I had bad things happen. But one of the things I realized is that all bad experiences taught me lessons that I continued to grow from and could help others as well...To answer your question- I was made fun of and left out things because I was tormented with social anxiety.
((((((((hugs to you)))))))))))

When i was 6 years old, my 13 year old cousin, put me in a coffin with my recently deceased uncle. I have been scared to go to a funeral home since then. And the smell of flowers makes me physically ill.

The worst thing was not being as good as most other boys in sports. Other than that, I can't think of anything really bad happening.

um....... it's too personal. I could tell you, but then i'd have to kill myself.
But, let's just say, through no willful fault of my parents, the whole of my childhood was for the most part lousy and traumatic. So i guess it was a series of "worst". oh well, what can you do? *shite happens*
*thinks* i feel nauseous now......
