I swear, some street-peddlar dude ((that i have given money to a lot of times before)) asked me for a dollar yesterday, and i thought, "why don't you give me a dollar for a change?"...... but i didn't say that, i just said, "I don't have a dollar, sorry."

Yeah. Been there, done that. When I was a newlywed I worked a minimum wage job while my husband went to school full-time. After a few years, we tried to buy a house. I started working 9 hour days plus 4 on Saturday and he got a part-time weekend job (he already had 40 hr/wk clinicals he had to do, plus study). Anyway, with both of us working our butts off, we were told we didn't make enough money to qualify for a low-income loan! Pretty crazy. Getting through situations like that make you a lot stronger and more self-reliant. Sometimes when I see people begging for money, I want to hand them a brochure for a work placement program. If some of these people worked as hard at finding employment as they do at begging, they'd be pretty successful.

I feel you on that one good buddy....I just got paid and I have to pay my high rent and 2 credit card bills that leaves me with 100.00 for food and stuff for the next 2 weeks
