Ok this question is for the doctors or some one who has had this same problem. When i was pregnant 2 years ago with my son, everything was going good until i was 8 months. One night i had EXTREME pain in the stomach area but i thought it was constapation so i ignored it (stupid me). The next morning the pain was so bad i could hardly walk. I then threw up. I then went to the hospital with my mom where in a matter of 5 minutes they were rushing me too the operating room.I was put to sleep and when i woke up my son was born....So in short. Does any one know what was wrong with me? I had severe stomach pain, I was not bleeding but the doctor said i was bleeding internally, and this was my second c-section. The doctor didnt know if i was gonna make it. I dont know what it was. All i know is it had some thing to do with my placenta. SO DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT PLACENTA PROBLEM I COULD HAVE HAD THAT CAUSES STOMACH PAIN, INTERNAL BLEEDING, AND NO BLEEDING PRIOR TO THAT INCIDENT???? please help

Check out the article. I believe what you experienced is called Placenta Previa, which is a condition where the placenta is in the wrong place during the latter stages of your pregnancy. It can cause bleeding and discomfort and in all the cases I have known about, causes the delivery to be done immediately by caesarean. Read the article and see if this is what happened. It doesn't necessarily mean that you will have this condition again but, they can tell by doing ultrasounds if you have another pregnancy. They will watch you carefully, knowing that this happened to you with your last pregnancy. My neighbor had it happen to her with one of her children but not with the other two. Ask your doctor to please explain to you what happened and ask how he can reassure you since you are frightened. I know you are afraid but this is not something that happens very often. Talk with your doctor so you will not have this fear.

Wow... I am not a doctor, but what you describred sounds like an abrubtion of the placenta... But why don't you make an appointment w/ your Dr to discuss what went wrong? And furthermore, why didn't they SEE this coming? I'm sure you had ultrasounds, etc... You have a right to know, and if I am not mistaken, your Dr should have sent the placenta to labs for studies... Good luck. I hope you get the answers you're seeking.

Placenta Previa maybe. Did your doctor not tell you? It sounds like you were in severe labor and if you had Placenta Previa then it was blocking the birth canal and the placenta CANNOT come out before the baby.

To be wholly sincere being brought on is far worse. I used to be brought on the primary time round and I used to be so harassed by way of the supply that after time got here and that i learned I used to be pregnant once more I went for a voluntary c-segment to restrict induction. Generally it is performed with an IV drug, pitocin. It motives very rapid, powerful, lengthy contractions very similar to ones that you simply get correct earlier than start. However you've gotten the ones by way of the entire hard work alternatively of simply the final couple of minutes. Also with this drug you're now not allowed off the bed to transport round or take a look at one of a kind birthing positions, birthing ball, water start and so forth becuase the drug can also be damaging. You might be caught flat in your again in mattress with the fetal screens on by way of the complete hard work. They might or would possibly not provide you whatever to stimulate your cervix. Also preserve in brain that now not all inductions are triumphant and they may be able to result in a c-segment. If brought on insist that they have got the anesthesiologist on web site earlier than they start the pitocin. I did not understand how powerful the contractions could be so by the point I used to be competent for an epidural I needed to wait a different a million.five hours for her to get to the health facility! Most ladies get an epidural round a 6 cm dialation. The anguish used to be so unhealthy that I burned by way of the IV anguish meds and used to be hyperventilating at a three! No subject how child will get right here you're a brand new mom. Never allow any person let you know that you simply did not do it correct for now not having a "normal" start. You have a child and you can be a hormonal smash the primary few weeks. That certain seems like a brand new mother to me! For what it is valued at I healed weeks faster with the c-segment over the brought on start.

I haven't had the problem but it was possibly your placenta tearing away from the side of the womb. This would create pain and cause the bleeding.

It sounds like the placenta was separating prematurely. This can cause internal hemorrhaging for you and imminent death for the baby. You should Thank God every day for the baby making it and that you are alive to see his precious little face.

placental abrupt ion, when the placenta begins to tear causing you to bleed out. This is what it sounds like but you can easily get your medical records retrieved from the doc and find out.

An ectopic pregnancy? Can you call the doctor and get the files and information? You have a right to know and the doctor had a responsibility to tell you what your condition was.

that didn't happen to me, but i know there is something where the placenta gets detached. if that happens during pregnancy, i would think it may cause internal bleeding. sorry i don't know for sure..........it's my best guess though.
