If I answered you honestly I would get another violation, but even where I live, people hate immigrants, change, live in hope that there must be an honest politician out there. On second thoughts nah. Small parties do not realise they can have a lot of power when a Govt. has a small minority. A lot of people I know would join the BNP just to make a point.

It's the first past the post system of votes that is biased toward larger parties, smaller don't get a look in. If we had the same system as in other countries you'd get messy coalitions. The same big parties would dominate, but they would have to appease smaller more extreme groups. We'd probably swing from New Labour with Greens to Conservative with UKIP/BNP, Parliament by Parliament. No I've never fancied the BNP, you've only got to look at the local candidates, same old piggy faces in suits only more smug and vicious.

I think you really need to rephrase your question, it should read "Labour, Conservative, Liberal? Why only one?
Sadly, the thuggish and oafish nature of the BNP frightens most of the people that it claims to represent, so I doubt that they would ever be considered to be a serious contender.
It occurs to me however, that now we have a Scottish Prime Minister, and heaven knows how many Scottish MP's who have been elected to what is still amusingly referred to as the British Government, maybe we should allow the Scottish National Party to field a few candidates and see if they might make a viable opposition!
They wouldn't have to do too much to better the present bunch would they?

Oh, get lost. You English natives might be sheep, but up here we've got four, and the conservatives aren't one of the big ones.
They're almost as irrelevant as the BNP. And yes, I have read the BNP's literature. The reason they don't get elected is because whoever made up their policies lives in cloud cuckoo land.
SNP for me, mate. Not, please note, even remotely associated with the BNP/

these parties rely on the same peeps voting year after year and have made things so complicated for other to join in as candidates. they dont represent the thought of the nation as many dont even vote as they dont agree with any of their pledges, I agree with BNP but not entirely and think they got bad press in their early days that have put people off.
Surley these parties between them are in breach of some monopoly law?

At least the BNP would send all these scrounging bastards from Poland and Rumania back from whence they came. The sooner the better.

Hey, at least you have one more choice than here in the US. I envy the voting system you Brits have in the UK.
