Brake fluid leaks out the rear left tire side on my 95 Hyundai accent. I was wondering around how much it would cost to get them fixed.

You have a bad seal on the brake wheel cylinder. Unless you know someone that is competent to do the job for less, don't get shocked when you take it to a shop and they will asked you to change this, change that and so on.

You could buy the parts from a store such as advanced auto's or Auto Zone and just get midas to install it. But there is always a Charge for manual labor but it should only take about 30 mins of manual labor each tire for Disc brake, drum brakes on the other hand.. . . . .. You could see how much it would cost to buy the parts from a 3rd party, and find out if they'd install it, them = midas or a local garage. But learning how to change the Rotors and pads is easy, it'll save you alot of money in the long run.

As long as the leaks is in the rear left like you say parts will cost about 60-100 depending what needs to get replaced. Labor is going to depend on the shop. Most likely 100-200.

You are looking at having the brake cylinder replaced, and the complete brake job, as the rear shoes (pads) needs to be replaced as well. (likely, contaminated by the brake fluid) You might also as well do both sides. You are looking at 400 to 600 dollars.

However, it is IMPOSSIBLE to tell what exactly you need, unless a technician takes it apart and examines it. It could be far cheaper, but I don't see how it can be much more than what I guessed.

Don't worry about it. 90% of your braking power is on the front brakes, and so you will have plenty of brakes even if the backs aren't working.
