Lo & behold, they began dating an eventually became an item. My friend posed this question to me:

If a lesbian and a gay man are dating each other, does that make them a gay couple? I ask in all seriousness and am curious as to what you think?

I understand your points but niether she nor he consider's themselves straight. They both identify as gay individuals.

I LOL when I read this one. A "gay couple" Maybe we should say a dichotomous gay couple, a binary gay couple, a nouveau gay couple, a gay-and-lesbian couple.

How about just calling them on time for dinner. With something like "hey, jane and john, dinner's ready."

Psychologically there are supposed to be about 7 genders. Ranging from... "Where's my Raw steak" male to "pretty flowers and butterflies" female. Apparently Either Physical sex can end up with any of these psychological genders.

SO... A gay man would have a psychology more over towards the feminine side and as a result be more attrracted to men, A gay female would equally have a psychology more over the the masculaine side and thus be attracted to females.

It would therefore make sense, sort of, for a feminine gay man to be attracted to a masculine gay female in that the two personalities should in theory compliment each other.

However, this psychological attraction does not explain the Physical compatability. Which make me think that both of them must be nearer to the middle of the scale which is where the GENUINE Bi-sexuals exist.

Most bi-sexuals are in my opinion just SEXUAL. That is... they want Sex and they aren't fussed who with. But these kind of bisexuals would rarely be able to hold a deeply loving relationship with either gender they would normally stick to their hetrosexual preference for Love.

The couple in question are probably genuinely bisexual. So they can Love and Lust after both genders without any of the repulsion that a very hetro person could suffer.

Personally I reckon.... whatever makes you happy works for me.

If a woman is dating a man, she's NOT a lesbian. If a man is dating a woman, he's NOT gay.
I'd say they're str8, but what the heck do I know?

And if they dig each other, that's all that matters! Labels are stoopid.

Wow. That's the f*cking weirdest relationship I've ever heard. I don't think you're ever going to get a good answer, because it sounds to me like they BOTH need to get their priorities/identities straight. Hehe, 'straight', get it.

.. Just kidding.

If they are not same sex then they wouldn't be gay.
