Try drinking herbal teas such as chamomile (organic loose leaf) tea before bed. Very soothing and calming.

Physical Side: Exercise more. Get your body tired. You'll feel great and sleep better.
Psychological Side: Establish an activity that you do each and every night. After it becomes a habit, your mind will associate it with sleep. Examples are reading a book, drinking a cup of milk, etc.
Set an alarm. If you have all the time in the world, I'd recommend sleeping 7-9 hours per night. Set a constant time for waking up. If you feel tired when you wake up, get up. If you don't feel tired, get up. Try to only sleep in 1-2 days a week.

Don't exercise late in the day.
Don't drink anything caffeinated.
Sleep in a dark room...no TV ro computer (it stimulates the brain).
Get up at the same time everyday. (more effective than going to bed at the same time).
Use bed only for sleeping.
Never stay in bed awake more than 15 minutes. If you can't fall asleep, get up, go to another room and do something quiet like reading.
Take a calming bath with chamomile bubble bath.
Drink herbal tea...Celestial Seasonings has a good line.

I was once simply gambling with the application one afternoon and desired to hear the Power Nap monitor. Next factor I knew I was once waking up! Fell correct asleep with out attempting. After utilizing the Fall Asleep monitor, I might go to sleep immediately. But I did not observe that I should not be utilizing that one all night time. Switched to Whole Night and feature been utilizing it ever considering the fact that. I can fall asleep effortlessly now. I simply lay and concentrate to the sounds and subsequent factor I recognize I am waking up from a fine sleep. I do not undergo from loss of sleep anymore. I hold an IPod with earbuds subsequent to my mattress and take it ALWAYS while journeying. The earbuds support block out ambient noise and the sleep tracks hold me sound asleep sound :) Reboot your mind & sleep soundly once more?

Try melatonin. It's an over-the-counter drug...very safe as it's produced by your own body. Start with 3 mg and see how that goes...but the trick is to take it three hours before you want to go to bed. It absorbs very slowly.
