What our liberal friends don't 'get' here is many reps don't want "forced" religion in public school--there ARE private Christian schools for for parents who choose to have religion/education combined. However, there should be NO reason that a child shouldn't be able to pray if they choose to IN SCHOOL or at public events held there. There should NOT be rules that "God" or "Jesus" should not be uttered on school grounds. Graduating seniors should be able to thank the Lord for the spiritual guidance He gave that student (or for you atheists--their "perceived spiritual guidance") without being censored. I think you'd have no problem with the valedictorian thanking their 'imaginary friend, Fred' so why does it bother people?

King AND King IS FORCING a belief system on our children. I teach my kids AT HOME that there are all kinds of families. This book is appropriate for a gay family --or for me to read with MY kids if the situation calls for it. What next? King and Goat?

Because the King of Kings interferes with they're secular agendas. They know that children are easily manipulated,so they can teach their ideologies and promote their own beliefs. They prey on the weak and fear the strong, that's why they attack Christianity. they can't have total control.

I'm a Democrat I guess that's a Liberal to you. I sure do not teach my kid that Kings and Kings is OK.

I really think it funny how you people try to lump all Democrats into the Gay is OK group.

That is an incredibly ridiculous statement. Which not only shows your ignorance. But does nothing to honor The King of Kings.

Because liberals are wicked and deny the existence of God!

Liberals do have a religion albeit it is a atheistic religion like communism.

One of the central tenents of their religion is denial of the existence of evil.

By denying the existence of evil they become oblivious to it and therefore live in a hazy, false reality.

This explains why all of their political positions are completely wrong and why none of their policies work!

It's a little thing called the Separation of Church and State.

Pesky for cons, yes I know, but a Democracy can't function without it.

Separation between Church and State.

You want to teach kids about King of Kings, teach them in your home or Church. That's where I learned mine.

Because we are not all Christians in America. And children should be taught homosexuality is okay. I wouldn't want my cild to hurt themselves because they were to afraid to come out to me.

Schools are places of learning and not places to spread superstitious drivel at tax payer expense.
