For my sketchbook assignment I have to create a still life with two "organic" objects and one "geometric" object (like a cereal box). What are some interesting objects I could use that possibly go well together?

Of course there's alway the classic "chance meeting on a dissecting table of an umbrella and a sewing machine".

...It doesn't exactly fit your criteria but, if you toss in a body or a houseplant, you could always argue that the umbrella's organic. {birdlike, covered with organic material... you could even dig up an old parasol...} If your teacher denies the "geometricity" of the sewing machine... you could always leave it in the box.

Then again, you could argue that the umbrella's geometric and see if you can dig up one of those old "organic" looking sewing machines.

Or... you could simply draw your breakfast.

Come to think of it... you could simply draw three eggs.

An orange, an egg and a photo cube (square family breakfast) - a cow, oats and a round pot (instant oatmeal), coffee beans, a can of milk and sugar

Just pull items out of the pantry and out of the veg and fruit bin place them in relation to each other and take a picture (I find still life easier to draw from a photo - the light stays constant). Good Luck!
