Im a huge US fan I think jozy may become our first world class striker.I also am very impressed with bradleys midfield potential.I think bradley could be our first world class destroyer.
I will be following their careers and I think this may be the first signs of the US producing world class footballers.
p.s. we actually have showed some earlier signs.......mcbride,donovan,brad friedel

First, @ S: Reality check for you: we tied Italy, the reigning world champions, in the last World Cup, and France lost to them, so obviously we are far from the worst team in the world. The current FIFA rankings, and the Gold Cup trophy we are currently holding agree with this. USA are champions of North America, but France is champion of nothing---sorry to break the news to you.
Now, the question: you are spot on! Jozy Altidore is USA striker of the future. Bradly is going to be a great player also, he just needs to keep his emotions under control, and calm down a little. He has a tendancy to pick up bad fouls and useless yellow cards. He'll mature, and grow out of that. Future looks so bright for USA!!!!

I really got a good feeling about Jozy Altidore. He has size, strength, quickness, and a knack for scoring goals. I agree, he has the chance to be a world class striker, though I hope he stays over here until he is 20.
I have mixed feelings on Bradley, at first I thought he was only on the pitch because his father is the coach, but what I saw in Copa Oro changed my mind. He is tenacious, quick, and seems to be in the right places. He just seems to disappear at times. I don't think he has Altidore's potential...

They both have potential. The real question is whether they will be given the chance to develop properly. Last I checked Altidore was still with the New York Red Bulls and Bradley was still with Herenveen.
The real problem that the U.S. has had with developing players is that players either end up on the bench of better teams (e.g. Donavan with Bayern Leverkuesen and Adu with Benefica) or with lower level teams in grind it out leaques like several players on teams in the bottom half of the Premier League. As such, our best players really do not get to play often enough as teammates of the best in systems that allow them to use their talents.
In addition, we take a lot of our inspiration in coaching from leagues like the Premier League which emphasize tough "professional" defense over creative offensive play. Unfortunately, that style is not too successful in international play.

Wow S, just looking at your name shows how creative you are, the us does not have the worst team in the world, sorry to give you a reality check. but altidore and bradley definetly have potential to be world class, i think the most pressure simply because his father is the coach, and he is off to a good start on proving he deserves his spot, but there are going to be people who just hate americans, and will tell you it doesn't matter.

I hate to be the one to give you a reality check, but the US has the WORST team in the world.......you should support CHAMPIONS, like FRANCE...........but whatever you do DON'T SUPPORT THE CHEATING SCUM OF ITALY.
*@ Dylan C: Clearly you've never seen how the sport is supposed to played......try watching EPL matches, then maybe you'll learn a thing or two about the sport.
**@ David: I appreciate your use of the word "football" than "soccer".
