Please help me. Does this not factor? 4x^2+5x-30 I have tried it every different way, I must be missing something!!!Thanks!

no it does not factor

No it does not factor, but you can still use the quadratic equation to solve it.

they can't be add together because they would have to have the same valuable are you sure it doesn't say 4x^2+5x-30= whatever

you can use the quadratic equation to get the root.

the roots are not whole numbers, here's what i got:

(x+3.43) (x-2.18)

I rounded it to 2 decimal places.
