i only have about 7 things that i can put on my resume...actually 8 (adding what i am currently doing)...Is this enough to start looking for agents? How long does it usually take to get an agent for acting?

Well it depends.

If you only have 1 credit, but you won an Oscar for it. Then yes.

If you have 3 small credits (say 1 small theatre, 1 local car delership commercial, and one print job), then no.

It depends on what they were.

Maybe. It it shows you have ability. If it includes a professional class, I'd say yes. Now agents are very picky and it is difficult to get one unless you just happen to be the type they are looking for at the moment. Do you know how to submit to an agent for representation? Do you have your audition monologues ready to go? Do you know what to say if your performance is criticized? If not, you need some info that I can help you with, read my profile and send me an email to my aol address for free help.
