Enki, I believe that anything is possible. Who knows, maybe the solitary soul has never met their soul mate.
One could say that we are ALL solitary souls. But I know that if one meets their soul mate, the "feeling" is like being one solitary soul.
That is so very rare, most people don't even believe it's possible. As to being alone in "many lifetimes," again, taking that leap from what's proven or not--I can't imagine that just one pattern would follow us forever! Destined to be alone--I certainly hope not. At the same time, there are people who prefer to be "alone" & love it. I just wish that everyone who doesn't want to be alone would find, or be discovered by that one person who would make them feel like "one."
Have you ever seen two little peas in a pod that are joined together? I think of that, & how we couldn't truly say they are two peas or one. They're both.
For those who wish to be solitary souls--whatever works. For those who do not, just never give up.

I'm sure there could be a solitary soul but more out of choice than anything else. AS for it destined to be alone in many lifetimes, I'm sure it is a possibility but then I believe that destiny can be changed if the person really wants it to change. So honestly for such continuation I would say that soul chooses not to try and change it's course. I've seen so many people so desperate for love that when it was right in front of them didn't see it and let it pass them by because they were too busy looking for it elsewhere. Sometimes the best love is the one that is unexpected.

I have often wondered this myself.
I know there are soulmates, but sometimes circumstances prevent them from ever being together in life.
I believe that I am a solitary soul. I have had very few loves in my life, and there is only one that is still persistent, and He is God. I feel like I have been alone forever, and since the two people I loved most were taken to the spirit world long before myself, I don't know if I will be alone forever.
I still have faith that soulmates exist, and I am open and receptive to the possibility, but I have no idea what the future entails...
Great question!

I actually believe that there are solitary souls. Some people go through all of their lives not knowing love. some people say that we are all destined to be alone but I do not believe that. I think that some people are meant to be in every life. Hence the term soul mate

I think of Merlin when I read your question. He was a solitary soul, wise and magical with knowledge and experience that set him apart from the rest. If he returns through many lifetimes that's the kind of solitary soul you might speak of.

If we are to experience all of life over many lifetimes, then for some of those lifetimes we will be solitary souls - because that is part of the life experience, part of the overall picture

We were conceived and born to be solitary beings with only one soul. Yet, as we age, we begin to understand the "need" and "want" for other souls similar to our own. In order to reach our single soul mate, we must be willing to let down all our self imposed barriers and take the "risk" that will define the rest of our life.
In regard to "many lifetimes." Be not concerned with what is around the corner. Be concerned and live with all that you can see before you turn that eventual corner.

I believe there might be a Solitary Soul, and that could be because some people do not like to be around anyone, so they are Solitary Souls.

You only become someone's "soulmate" after spending a lot of time with them. That being the case, I suppose that if you spent a lot of time isolated, you might become a solitary soul, or perhaps your own "soulmate." But is anyone ever truly an "island," so to speak?

we are all soulmates, we are all solitary in our minds but part of the collective life energy. Truly never alone, even a loner like myself cannot claim to be a solitary soul, merely a solitary thinker\creative...
