When is it going to come out for sale? I heard it is October, and I am interested in buying this vehicle, or the Ford Sports Trac. So is there any news on the release date?

Hey Tyler-
The release of the 2008 Focus is scheduled for October.
I don't know what part of the country you are in but I just did a search of dealerships in the US. I found only 1 released to a dealership in Tulare, California. It is a very basic (S trim level) model in White w/ automatic trans. It has been released from the factory but may not have arrived at the dealer yet.

The delay in release could possibly be related to the all new "SYNC" feature/option.

Not that there is any problem with SYNC, just that since it is an all knew (industry first) feature, dealership personnel (such as myself) need to become "certified" in the use & operation of the feature. (I just completed my certification) Ford cannot release a product to a dealership until the dealership has the properly trained personell to service & sell the product/features/options.
On the 2008 Focus, SYNC is not available on the S (trim level), optional on the SE, & standard on the SES.

For more info on "SYNC" go to :

(SYNC is an award winning technology developed by Microsoft & Ford, a first in the Auto industry & a Ford exclusive. Although other auto manufacturers will be able to use the technology, Ford will always have an 18 month lead on any/all future updates)

I have had the opportunity to sit in & check out the newly designed Focus. I really can't wait to get behind the wheel!

My dealership, located in the Midwest, has many on order, with scheduled ETAs in October.
