My fiance and I are going to be in Las Vegas for a few days in January and I am keen to try all the touristy things like the Stratosphere rides etc. I have looked around the net and the tickets are pretty expensive. Are there any deals I can get to make it cheaper or any passes that work for more than one casino? Also what is the shopping like in the casino malls? Any advice to make my trip enjoyable but stay within budget would be great. Thanks.

the shops at the venetian are very nice and as for amusement rides, go to the cirucs, circus adventuredome. They have an amazing indoor theme part there. The wynn casino has a lot of shops, but it can be pricy and so can New York, New York. The new york hotel has a rollar coaster too. I don't think there are any passes that work for more than one casino but it is worth it to go into all of the amazing casinos

have fun!

It is usually cheaper, if you buy the tickets as a package. Also, if you see a show at Stratosphere you will get your tower pass (ticket to ride the elevator to the top of the tower) included with your show price. Also, if you were to join the player's club at Stratosphere, they might comp the tickets for you, it all depends on how much you gamble. The shopping in the casinos, is different in all of the casinos, the nicer casinos have more expensive shops. All of them have a few reasonable stores, it all depends on what kind of things you are looking for. If you are looking for the touristy souvenirs, Stratosphere has a few good gift shops with cheap souvenirs. Hope that helps
