Wash really well with soap and water, and if you have any citrus fruits in the house slice and rub onto your hands, let soak in for a moment and wash with warm soap and water and remember to use a good hand lotion bleach can be very damaging to the skin. Maybe after applying lotion, put your hands into some knitted goves, mittens or even a pair of socks!

I used liquid laundry soap & a finger nail brush to get under the nails.

When at the farm, we kept 3 bars of soap on hand: Soap of choice for bathing & washing hands, Lava for heavily soiled hands & stains, Lifeboy (spelling?) to eliminate smells after fishing, around bleach or gas/petroleum.

Bleach Smell: To remove bleach smell from hands (and that slimy feeling) pour a little vinegar or lemon juice over your hands then rinse. (bleach is alkaline, vinegar and lemon are acid, so they cancel each other out and balance the pH of your skin.)

Keep washing with soap.

Or just wait - you're smelling the chlorine, and at room temperature, chlorine dissipates within 24 hours.

Wash them....in COLD water. The soap cuts the grease/ film, then warm water spreads and dilutes the soap so you never get off. Use cold water to rinse your hands.

I think some where on the bottle it says to wear gloves. Otherwise it will go away by its self.
