I just got 10 violations. how many til you are suspended and what do I do if I get suspended?

Depends on the offense...
Adult content might get you pulled on the 1st time...
Chatting (avatar games and the like).... the sky is the limit...
Point Gaming.... They usually nail on the 1st one, plus any other ID's you may use ( see matt damon)...
Chatting seems to be the least offensive to Yahoo... and it sounds like that what you got popped for... otherwise they probably would have suspended you by now......
EDIT::: Making your Q&A's PRIVATE does NOT repeat DOES NOT help.....
All someone has to do is search by some "keyword" in that little green box marked " search for questions", and anything you have ever put on this site, is open to being found.... EVERYTHING... Private profile or not.... USER BLOCKING or not... EVERYTHING...
2nd EDIT::: Yes... but you will have to have a 2nd email address... the one associated with the account you are using now will NEVER be able to create another ID once this one gets suspended....

Well I used to think you get like 6 violations to get suspended but I guess not. You will probably need alot more than 10. But when you are suspended you cant go on Y!A for a certain amount of time I think. And your account gets deleted. I have never been suspended before so I am not exactly sure.

That's awful. I don't know if there is anything you can do if you are suspended. You can appeal it with Yahoo but you know full well they'll never do anything about it, as always. This new moderating system sucks because people can report you just because they decide they don't like you and Yahoo will actually suspend your account based on that! It's going to make a lot of useful members abandon this site and it's not going to get rid of the troublemakers either -- they'll all just make up a new account every day as soon as theirs gets suspended, just to come back and harrass everyone!

There are some really nasty people around sweetheart. I don't know how many before you get suspended, is there nowhere you can find out.

I think you should answer people's questions honestly and not be rude about it. Then you won't get reported and you won't have to worry about it. Try laying off YA for awhile, too. It could be someone just doesn't like you and they'll get in trouble for reporting false violations.
