distance = rate x time
D = RT
T = D/R = 26 miles//43 miles/hour = 26/43 hour because the miles cancel

She drove at 43 miles/ hour . The distance was 26 miles.
D= rt
So 26 = 43 x t
t = 26/43 hours
for minutes multiply by 60 min / hour
26/43 x 60

Yes, it is 26/43. Here is a good trick to see if you have the equation right. Leave out the numbers and just put down the units. Here you have miles divided by miles/hour. The miles cancel in the fraction and the hour comes up to the denominator, so the answer will be in hours and the equation is right. Its called dimensional analysis and a good math trick.

yes if you put in "of an hour" at the end

think of an easier example
say amber drove at 10mph to conors house 5 miles away
so it obviously is 5/10 of an hour or half an hour

so 26/43 of an hour is
26/43 = 0.604 of an hour
an hour is 60 mins so 0.604x60mins is roughly 36mins

43 miles are covered in 1 hr
26 miles will be covered in 26/43 hr
or (26/43)x60=36.279 minutes
or 36 min and 16.74 seconds
