We live next to a cattle farm and the flies are THICK. They come into the house any chance they get. My arms are getting tired from the swatting.

fill a zip-lock bag with water and place a penny in it. Zip it up and hang it by the front door. They hate it! I live in farm country. We all do this.

Try old fashioned fly paper. It comes in little rolls that you hang from the ceiling. They look awful, but they will get the flies. A hardware store should have it.

Keep your hold cool during the summer. that seems to make them sluggish and easy to kill
