I have also read answers by Muslims, and have noticed the same. Only anti-Islamic Muslim haters will tell you otherwise. Having been raised in an average American Muslim home, I can tell you that there was not much difference between myself and my Christian friends, besides that I was supposed to stay "pure" until marriage. That is what Christians are *supposed* to do too! Muslims are a little culturally biased towards their boys, but women in a majority of the world are happy and content without being westernized. Their husbands generally spoil them. Yes, as the poster above said, Saudi Arabia is a harsh place, but shouldn't be used as an example for all, as it is actually very different than Lebanon, Yemen, Jordan, and so on.
I am now a Atheist by my own choice. My family still loves me, and I haven't been stoned for marrying a Catholic.
There you have it. Christians will insult Muslims, yet Muslims people just want to live in peace, and not be constantly defending themselves.

I don't recall seeing very many people identifying their religious beliefs in posts. Some Athiests seem to be proud of their lack of religion and so state but I have seen no one identifying with Islam and only a few identifying as Christians or any other religion for that matter.

Most White Christians are racists. It has been that way since the 15th century, when they changed Christ image from black to white.
Whites who know that Christ was not white, will say it doesn't matter. I would agree if the false white icon did not dominate western culture.
I don't think Islam is the answer either. Muslims taught the white man how to enslave the black man.
I think it is best to be spiritual and not religious. That is the only thing that works for me.
I believe in Yeshua, but I no longer consider myself a Christian. I just consider myself as a believer, but I do not embrace the religion, or belong to any Church.
The white man has ruined Christianity, and therefore I can no longer be a part of that religion.

As a former Christian, I'm very happy where I am right now Hon---as a Pagan. I love the idea that "god" (or insert your choice of word for a supreme being) is found in nature and responds to us by providing everything we need to survive. This is how my Native American ancestors believed and it's what I have finally found that accomodates my own ideas.
Edit to I'mOK---I tend to waver between Atheism and Paganism....(!) Whatever it is I believe, it sure ain't that guy who smoked hash with his twelve apostles! ;) But the more I study my Cree roots, the more I'm convinced (after years of trying on different faiths) that I'm Pagan.
Edit to Denise---what do you mean, "Muslims treat their women worse than animals"?! Where in the hell do you get your information, ya knucklehead? I seriously doubt that you even know any Muslims down there in Buttf*ck, Texas....I DO know Muslims, and I can assure you that the women are treated royally by their husbands, unlike the unfortunates married to some of the "Christian" men I've known of whose hobby seems to be putting their wives in the hospital.

Yes, Muslims are the peaceful group that behead others. They also treat their women worse than animals. It is hardly a peaceful religion and you know it. You won't fool us on Yahoo Answers. Anyone agree?
