I love wearing heels but i can never wear them for long. I know how to balance in them and walk perfectly fine without any problems. Its just that when i wear them for more then a couple of hours my feet feel terrible and if i wear them for longer i get this bubble thing under my foot or a blister. I know people say when you buy a new shoe u have to break into it n the first few times it kills to wear them. Is that true for heels as well?

You have to break them in somewhat but you shouldn't get a blister or bubble under your foot. You can go to the foot care aisle of any target, walmart or drugstore and look for the clear gel/silicone inserts you place in the top part of your show to see if that helps. If not, maybe you are just not cut out for the height you are wearing. I can wear up to 4 inch high heels but even wtih my feel aching, I'm more prone to get a corn on my little toe, so I know to be careful and not wear the same shoes more than a few days in a row to give the skin a break. Also, are you wearing hose? That can help reduce friction. Definitely try the silicone/gel inserts.

It takes a while to get used to wearing heels in general, but I wouldn't say that you should have to "break in" a pair of shoes, ever. I have around 80 pairs of shoes and the 3 pairs that hurt are the ones I bought out of last minute necessity for a party. The rest are absolutely fine- when in the shoe store, if they feel even vaguely uncomfortable, don't get them. Good heels can still make your feet ache or your calves ache (depending on the heel height) but I'd say only after 5 or 6 hours.
I also avoid high heels that aren't made of leather as synthetic materials can slice your feet. ouch.
In the UK, you can get these great things called Party Feet made by Scholl which are gel cushion things that you put in your shoes to avoid that burning sensation. They're not so good for open toe heels though as they tend to slip out.

You can buy gel inserts for the ball of your foot, if that's where you're getting the blisters. Unfortunately, foot pain is a minor problem compared to the knee, hip, and back pain that you can get from wearin high heels. Save them for special occasions and wear more sensible shoes to school and work.

You'll just mess up your feet even more. However, it is possible to find cute heels that won't make your feet want to scream. Dr. Scholls heels are usually pretty comfy and support your feet a lot, and they also sell little pads to wear with your heels to make them more comfortable too. I don't think you can really break in new heels.. there's not usually that much left to break in, lol.

You will only get used to heels if you wear them all the time every day!

heels are ok for special occasions but not for daily use. you will not get used to the pain;it's not worth it. My friend and I and serious ice skaters, and she wears wedges and pumps a lot. Her instructor didn't tell her anything about the consequences. She had to get surgery in her foot because one of the outer bones crushed against the other one; they had to remove the bone. She can't ice skate anymore and she really regrets it.

yes.
also if you have some specific pairs that you want to wear sooner.
try walking around in the house in them and wear peds.
it can help with the pain and by walking in them more, it will become natural and you wont feel pain.

No, not only won't you get used to the pain...you will probably end up with bunions or other foot related problems.
When people say "you have to break into the new shoes", they're not speaking from experience. If the shoes aren't comfortable when you're trying them on, they will NOT get more comfortable as time goes on.

Yeah, don't worry... you'll get used to it.
It does damage the balls of your feet (underneath the foot under the toes) and that's not good.
But you know what they say: You have to suffer for beauty.

Even so, you are going to be having leg and back problems later down the line from wearing them now.
